This is soooo true. I always say that one painting leads to another painting, and the more you paint, the more you paint. 🙂 You can’t use up creativity. It becomes an endless, ongoing cycle, which I love being stuck in.

I can’t seem to ever paint just one painting at a time. I always have 3 or more that I’m work on. I don’t like to sit around waiting for paint to dry, so I just keep moving from one to another. The more paintings, the better. I love creating chaos in my studio. One time last spring, I counted 22 paintings in progress, and I was so happy..dashing around from one to another.

I spent most of the day yesterday at the doctor’s office, and hospital with my poor husband. He ended up in the ER for several quite scary hours. I wasn’t sure if he was going to get released last night, but I was able to bring him home around 9:30. He’s doing much better today, and is hopefully on the mend. Scary situations like that always make me so grateful for everyday life. We all take so much for granted.
