I’m coming to the end of my third month of daily blogging. If my math is right, it’s been 90 days today. I haven’t missed one day. That’s great and all, but how’s it really been going?

The toughest part (still) about blogging every day has been knowing what to write, down here below the painting. It still takes me forever or at least way longer than it should to write a post. I don’t think it will ever be easy for me. I’m constantly reminded that I’m an artist, not a writer, every time I sit down to type.

So, I took a step back, and reevaluated. What am I trying to achieve by daily blogging, and is it really worth my time? The answer I kept coming back with is no. It’s not worth my time to do this every day. I have the same amount of readers every week whether I’m here every day or if I’m here only 3, which makes me question why I’m working so hard. “Why bother..it’s pointless” keeps running through my head. According to what I found on Pinterest, that’s reason talking. I listened to my heart, now I’m going to listen to reason.

I could be doing so many other things, rather than struggling to write a blog post. So, this is the end of daily blogging for me. I’ll still be here 2 to 5 days a week, no worries. I just need some time off in between posts to catch my breath.
They think I’m funny. 🙂
I have a post scheduled for tomorrow, but I don’t know when I’ll be posting from then on. If you don’t want to keep checking back to see if I’ve updated, you can receive my posts via email. The signup is in the sidebar. You can also follow me through Networked Blogs, and read my blog from FB. Or you can add me to your blog reader, if that’s how you read blogs. I use Inoreader these days. It has a clean white design, and I’ve never had any problems with it.
