There’s something about her eyes that are telling me she’s on a road trip with a carload of kids, and they’re about to drive her mad. Having worked in a few restaurants in what was considered a tourist trap for summer vacationers (especially those with small children because mountains and camping are cheap, yo) I’d recognize this look anywhere. They all look like this as they come through the door. Someone get this woman a glass of wine, STAT!!

ps: this is the same expression I had on my face as I was coming to the end of these portrait paintings. 😀
