I thought I was finished with my blind contour drawing art journal, but it turns out, I still had a few blank pages left. I was kinda in a blah kind of mood a couple weeks ago, so I figured why not do something fun instead of sitting around in my funk.

So, out came the art journals, my husband joined me with his, and within minutes we were belly laughing, and my yucky mood was completely gone. I had tears streaming down my face from laughing hysterically.

The way we did it was to turn on a youtube video, hit play, and then just randomly stop the video. We then used whatever was on the screen as our subject matter for the blind contour drawing.

wearing a shirt too small
so he can show off his bellybutton –
all of which was NOT on the screen.
LOL 

I’m definitely going to keep this practice going throughout the winter. I need to make a new art journal book just for this purpose. Then whenever I feel like life is getting the best of me, I’m going to pull it out, and blindly create some..well, masterpieces, ofc. LOL
