Last week, I bought new little plastic pots to store my acrylic paint in. These new pots are half the size (2 oz) of the glass ones (4 oz) I bought a year ago, and have attached lids that snap down tight.
The glass jars weren’t working out for me. I was throwing out huge amounts of dried up paint because the covers didn’t seal properly. I’m not a wasteful person, so throwing away this much paint from every jar of paint bothered me.
I don’t know if you’ve looked at the prices on artist paint lately, but I did the math, and some of the paint I buy, Golden cad red, for example, is $593.56 a gallon. !!! Throwing away paint just isn’t an option for me.
I’m hoping these smaller pots reduce my waste, and the lids will seal better than the glass jars. Once I’ve used them for a while I might do an update to let you know how it’s going.
I hope you’re having a lovely week. xo

Although I mostly hang out here on my own website, there are other places to find me online.
