I’m coming to the end of my third month of daily blogging. If my math is right, it’s been 90 days today. I haven’t missed one day. That’s great and all, but how’s it really been going? [Read more…]

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the USA, so I spent the day in the kitchen, prepping for tomorrow’s dinner. It’s easier than waiting and doing everything tomorrow in a rush. I had a list of special requests to make. We’ll be having 5 guests for dinner, and I’m excited to see them again. But first, one more cute kitty picture..
I’m not sure why Harold thinks Maude tastes yucky (is that what you’d call that face he’s making?), she had just eaten wet food.
They both fit in my hand
People have been asking me what Sweet Pea thinks of the baby kitties. At best, I’d say “meh”, and that’s being generous. She’s coming around, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a very slow process. Because the kittens are so small, I have them in my office upstairs, where I can close the door. The little mites can’t have run of the house for a while, they’re just too small. So, that’s making it easier on Sweet Pea. If she wants to visit them, she has to come upstairs. She only takes a couple steps into the room, and stops. As soon as someone squeaks or squeals, she vanishes. Does not like the noise they make. It’s getting better, she’s taken the hissing down a notch, but it will take a while.

I’m not normally a fan of purple, but in this case, I think it works well. I tried out different colors on the vase, like a deep red, and also white. It never looked as good as the purple, so purple it is! White looked better in the background.
I love this kitty sooooooooo much.
And guess what she loves..

I feel like I’m in an Alfred Hitchcock movie every time the birds migrate. I’m not a big fan of anything in large numbers, like people, birds, rats, bugs. I think I have a phobia. I’m okay if there is one or two, but if I see this many, I get very nervous. All I can wonder is if they swooped down on me, what would I do?? Scream loud? If it ever happens, I hope I’m able to find my voice, and it’s enough to save me. haha

This little bird is so full of seeds, he’s about to topple off his tree branch. 🙂
Harold and Maude
Cute kitten photo of the day
They were so excited to see me this morning. They both were clinging to my pant leg, and learned how to climb up into my lap. Soooo cute. Maude continues to be a little foodie. This morning she threw herself across the saucer, on top of the wet food, so Harold couldn’t eat. She usually freezes him out by pushing and pushing him over until he’s completely off the plate. Greg keeps saying they need their own plates, but give up seeing all this cuteness? No way!! She had wet can food all over her belly and feet. 🙂 Don’t worry. Harold got some wet food, extra dry food, and kitten formula.
They have conquered the litter box, and only had one small accident yesterday. Today, no accidents!! They learn so fast. Harold has this weird little habit of jumping on top of his sister’s head when she goes to the litter box. And, every single time, she turns her back, and never sees him coming. He creeps up on her, twitches his little behind, then plop!! Soooo funny. I have to get it on video.
Before my life totally turned upside with these new baby kittens, I took these photos…
