If you keep painting, you will improve
It’s hard to let go, and let it happen
Bold, colorful, NEW 4×4 inch portraits!!
and Layla (she didn’t fit in well with the others)
I’ve had a busy weekend. I absolutely love this new series I’ve been working on. Painting loosely isn’t as easy as it may seem. It’s actually pretty difficult, especially for artists like me who like to control the paint. It’s hard to let go, and let it happen however it’s going to happen. But, that’s what I did, and I love love love these little guys.
Bright, bold colors, lots of different shades of orange in these. Orange is my favorite color, if you haven’t guessed. I think out of all of them, David is my favorite. I feel like keeping him for myself. I feel like keeping them all for myself, but I won’t be greedy.
I think I’m going to call it a night. I’m going downstairs, drink my tea, and collapse in front of Netflix for a while. I’ll try to get around to visit your blogs sometime this week. I’m sorry I’ve been slow doing that lately.
New 8×10 Prints Available
8×10 print
This week I’m focusing on making new prints available. I know not everyone can afford or wants an original painting. If that’s the case, prints may be more of what you’re looking for. These prints are not printed on a home printer. They are professionally printed, and shipped to you directly from my printing service. Prints are made from a 300 dpi digital image of the paintings. What you see on your computer screen is only 72 dpi. The prints are sharp, and clear. You won’t be disappointed. Click on the title of the print to go to my Esty shop to purchase.

Bible, kitty, blank canvas, Michelle, and Linda Loo
This truly is my bible. I read it most every day.
My little studio assistant, Izzie.
A stack of chipboard that’s been gessoed twice on each side. Now it’s white, blank, and staring at me. Yikes! haha
No worries!!
Meet Michelle.
and, Linda Loo!!
I’ve had a busy week.
I’ve had some things on my mind lately,
like this post I wrote earlier this week..
It’s not polite to ask an artist to lower the price on a painting
Happy PPF!
