This is a commissioned painting I did last year. I had an awesome photo to work from, which made my job sooo easy. You can see me paint it. I’ve been editing the video. It’s now rendering, and uploading to my YouTube channel. It’s taking a while..like about 2.5 hours altogether. Well, it looks like I’ve dusted off my Youtube account, and I’m back to editing and uploading videos. I spent the afternoon on this one, and found several more painting videos that need editing. I think I’ll make a weekly thing of it. How does Wednesdays sound? Sure. Why not? I have a little spot for filming now, so I might as well keep making these, huh? Ice on the trees – Wordless Wednesday

Yesterday, my studio was warm and humid. I had the fans on. When I went outside in the afternoon, it was reallly cold. Last night, big thunderstorm. Lots of lightning and thunder. This morning, ice on the trees. Crazy spring weather. The buds had just leafed out, and now the tiny leaves are frozen. Aw.

I was going to insert a poem here about a girl with brown eyes, but do you know how many really bad poems there are about brown eyed girls??? Ack! There’s some awful poetry out there, and I couldn’t do that to you. So, instead a little quote from Henry Miller, and you can tell he’s writing about a girl with brown eyes..he is, right?

I don’t know how to tell you what I feel. I live in perpetual expectancy. You come and the time slips away as if in a dream. It is only when you go that I realize completely your presence. And then it is too late. You numb me.
