Reading – Cruddy by Lynda Barry 

I’ve had this book on my shelf since it first came out in 1999. I’ve tried reading it a time or two, but it never clicked with me. Last night, I had just finished a book, and was looking for another. The spine, and title caught my eye. I was in the mood to keep reading, and open to anything fictional, so I figured why not?

The story immediately got under my skin, and now I’m finding it hard to put down. It’s an I don’t want to work today..I just want my book, and curl up on the couch with a giant mug of tea on this cold snowy day kind of book. I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to read it.
