Colorful gouache portrait painting

I switched to my other art journal, so I could use some bright colors for this portrait. As you’ll see, I didn’t hold back. I started to miss working with color after a few months of working in my b&w journal.

If I remember right, this was a quick warmup piece I did. Just wanted to get the brush moving, the paint flowing, and rev up the creativity level in my brain.
