Dude, I’m So Blue

I created this one a couple weeks ago while being inspired by my other painting, Dude, I’m So Sad. They kinda look like sisters. 

The “Dude, I’m so sad” title came from something I overheard while walking down the street back in November or December. I’ve often thought of that person, and wondered how they are doing because if they were sad before 2020 hit, I can’t imagine how they’re feeling today. 

I thought titling this Dude, I’m So Blue is kinda comical because it’s stating the obvious..she is the color blue, after all. Yet, at the same time, blue matches the expression on her face, and mood of the world lately. So, it’s a bit of a play on words, and you can interpret the title any way you’d like.
