As you probably know by now, I’m using photobooth photos for my theme this month for some of my paintings. I’m blogging a painting a day..links below for the challenges. So, the reference photo I used for this painting is so funny. The woman was fluffing her hair, thinking she had time before the camera went off. I wish I could see the photo after this one. I wonder if she had a surprised look on her face or even know she got caught primping.
Besides doing the daily painting challenge, I finished reading four books in the past week and a half. That’s unusual for me, but I’d finish one, and I felt lost without having something to do while paint was drying. So, I finished Wild Roses by Deb Caletti, and moved on to Room by Emma Donoghue, Before Women Had Wings by Connie May Fowler, and Heading Out to Wonderful by Robert Goolrick. I thought Heading out to Wonderful was the best, but I liked them all. Now I’m reading Floating in My Mother’s Palm by Ursula Hegi, and The Good Daughters by Joyce Maynard.
*I’m not affiliated in any way with Barnes and Noble. I’m just linking to some good books, if you want to take a look.
What are you reading these days? I’d love to know.
