I didn’t set out to paint an angry woman, but it kept going in that direction. I just went with the flow. I mean, why bother fighting the muse? Her face is so extremely red, it was hard to photograph it, but I got it as close as I possibly could.

I was going to calm to redness down a bit, but I decided to just leave it be. I think the emotion represents half of the US after the election, so many will relate.
