I’m using the first two sentences as my mantra while I go about my day. It helps me stay focused on what’s most important right now.

Even though Sweet Pea’s blind, she’s very independent, and the only snuggling she likes to do
is with me..and it has to be on her terms only. I have to hold her just so, and there are many rules or I’m in deep trouble..trust me. Despite her name, she can be a moody little thing, and that’s putting it mildly. lol

Ooooh, how we love that girl, tho. Poor Harold goes through phases where he’s desperate to be close to her. He gets so obsessed with her, and must follow her around everywhere. She usually hisses, and attacks him if he gets too close. So, I was shocked to walk in, and see them cozied up like that..made me tear up. Harold looked so happy that the little princess had let her guard down. lmao

What I’m reading: Sixteen reasons why I won’t paint today 

The number one reason I think people make excuses not to paint? Fear. They’re afraid they’ll fail. Just do it! It’s only paint. 

We Returned to Normal – a family left Brooklyn and moved to Iceland because of Covid. 

What I’m watching: We the Animals – Another 5 star film. This one has been in my queue for a long time, and I’m so glad I finally took the time to watch it. 

Happy as Lazzaro – Quirky Italian film that I really loved. 5 stars. 

Netflix was glitchy for me the past couple days. I couldn’t find these titles to link to them yesterday, and the David Foster Off the Record documentary was gone when I tried to finish watching it. Everything seems to be working fine today, so I’ll be picking up where I left off later. YES!! It’s another 5 star one for me, so I’m glad Netlix’s search is working again.
