I’m tired

I painted this a couple months ago, but I’m relating to it more today than I did back then. She looks tired. I’m tired. The frigid -15 to -30 temperatures have been keeping me up all night. I’m setting my alarm, and getting up every hour on the hour to check the plumbing situation to try to prevent the water from freezing.

I’m basically cat napping in between, sitting up on the couch. I don’t trust myself to go to bed because if I’m warm and toasty, I’ll probably shut my alarm off without getting up.

After almost a week of no sleep, I’m looking forward to being out of this arctic blast. As I’m sure you will also, if you’ve been hit with it. The 40s are going to feel so warm in a week.

Needless to say, I haven’t been painting. I’m doing all I can to stay caught up with packing & shipping out orders right now. I don’t have the energy for anything more.
