This is an older painting that I’ve been revising for about a month now. I can’t seem to get the colors to my liking, so I keep changing it. I think I finally have her face done, but I’m still not sure about her shirt. I think it needs more work, so you’ll probably be seeing it again soon.

This is a small 4×4 oil painting that I’m playing with. I’m thinking about doing a series of incomplete or purposely left unfinished paintings. I’ve always loved art that has the look of “who did this and ran”.

hm..I’m probably not explaining this right, but that’s how it’s computing in my head right now. lol I need better ‘splaining words, but I don’t have them right now.

What I can say is this painting is experimental. I walked away without putting down any additional strokes. I’m not sure if I’m going to leave it like this or keep painting. I think I’ll keep painting because I’m not crazy about her eyes, but this was a good test to see if I can walk away leaving it unfinished.
