You’ve probably guessed by now that these aren’t photos of abstract paintings, although I wish they were. I don’t know about you, but I see elephants in the photos above.
I shot these pics after clearing off the top of my work table. This lovely surface was hidden underneath a zillion paint pots, ink, markers, and oil pastels.
I almost hated to clean it up, but I gave it a good scrub, and chiseled some of the paint off. This is as clean as I could get it. Then I lined the surface with thick clear shelving plastic, so it’s easier to wipe clean. It feels like a brand new space to work on now.
Artists I’m admiring:
Antti Rautiola paints beautiful children figure paintings
Dana Cooper – love her work!
David & Pam Lussier – Husband & wife paint lovely New England landscapes, and much more.
Larry Moore – I love his style of painting. My favorite is the interior room series.
You gotta see these stellarscapes
Michelle Boggess-Nunley – artist who created a HUGE 1,500 feet long maze. I’m in awe of her determination.
Books I’ve read:
Thrift Store Paintings – LOVED it!!
Tipping Point – This book was dry, and looooong. I finished it finally, but I don’t know if I’m continuing on to the next one in the series. We’ll see.
The Lost Souls by Olga Tokarczuk – This is probably the shortest book I’ve ever read, which I needed, after the last book. It took probably 5 minutes, and I read it twice. It’s sweet, and the illustrations are darling. You will like it.
