The grass in this painting kinda looks like my lawn, which I had to start mowing again yesterday because it’s already too high. I can’t say that I mind because I’m happy to wave goodbye to that brutally cold winter. 

That, plus, mowing is a good excuse to practice my daily walking meditation outdoors. I got an hour and a half in yesterday. I’m off to finish up the big field this afternoon. Then I just have the front, sides, and backyard to do tomorrow & Saturday, and it will be time to start over again. Dontcha love spring? lol 

Sitting quietly,
doing nothing,
Spring comes,
and the grass grows,
by itself.

Watching: Annabelle – another of my favorite Youtubers, and I also support her on Patreon. I just found her within the past couple years or so, and keep thinking I need to watch her older videos. I watch her videos more for her personality, the cute outfits she thrifts, her cats – Bambi and Prairie, and family life – which has now changed since she’s living alone in NYC. Of course, I like her art, also, but she posts more about her life than art. She also has an art channel with her sister, but they haven’t updated in a while.
