New year, new city, new house, new job, new studio

I’m so happy to be back here blogging again.
After a long break from painting,
I’ve rolled up my sleeves,
and jumped back into the game..
finally!!  

I’ve been so quiet
because I’ve been busy moving.
It’s a new year, new city, new house, new job, and new studio. 
It’s a lot of newness all at once,
but I’m trying not to let it overwhelm me.

Last night was the first time I painted in months. I think I smiled to myself for an hour non-stop. 🙂 I felt in a much lighter, better mood this morning when I woke up. I thought, Ahh..this is what has been missing in my life, of course. It was good to get those brushes moving again.

and unpacked, eh?

Sunrise on Christmas morning

In the middle of all the chaos of house hunting, and packing boxes, I signed a new contract. I started working with another licensing company right about the time I went quiet here on my blog. Now that I have a studio once again, I have a heavy workload facing me. I’m scared to even think about it. Soo, if I’m slow to update my blog, you’ll know why..I’m buried under a massive project, but I’m still going to shoot for at least a weekly blog update..if not more.

Oh, before I go, I’m having a sale on portraits in my Etsy shop.
