Day 125
*****
November went by in a flash. I don’t think I sat down for more than an hour at a time for the entire month. I can’t believe December is as close as one day away, and it’s time for me to change my monthly theme again for the 365 days art project. How in the world did that happen in a blink of an eye?

Day 126
*****
To be honest, I’ve been too busy to contemplate a theme change. I ended up having to make two Thanksgiving dinners last week due to some last minute schedule changes, which threw me off course a bit.
The menu consisted of three pans of gf lasagna – two vegetarian made with spinach, red peppers, onions, and one with Italian sausage for the meat eaters in the family. The lasagnas were made with homemade tomato sauce, which simmered on the stovetop all day. While the sauce cooked, I made tossed salad made with sauteed onions, 2 huge bowls of cabbage/avocado/fresh pineapple & lemon salad, large crock of beans, 2 large pans of baked tofu, 2 batches of veggie fried rice, a cabbage/carrots/beets vegetable dish, 2 pineapple upside down cakes, 2 batches of gf blueberry muffins, and gf garlic bread.
Still don’t know how I pulled it all off, but I’m pretty sure no one walked away hungry.

Day 127
*****
Is it any wonder I’m just getting around to asking myself what I want to paint for the upcoming 30 days? haha I’m thinking I need to pick something that isn’t going to take up too much time or space in my life for the next 30 days. The holiday orders are starting to roll in now, which is so awesome. 🙂 My number one goal for the next few weeks is to ship out orders as fast as I can. I’m shooting for within an hour after I get an order, except for those coming in while I’m sleeping, of course. If this year is anything like those in the past, it gets a bit frantic with last minute shoppers, so sleep is always optional. Last year, I was up at 3:30 am, replying to how quickly I could ship a painting, and I remember saying, “give me an hour, and consider it done.” Crossing fingers this year will be as fast paced. I LOVE this time of year. 🙂
