How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.
Anne Frank
This guy just sorta appeared in my art journal. I was using this page to wipe any extra paint on my brush off, instead of wasting it, Suddenly, there he was, and made me do a double take. Oh, hello! I only had to add a little paint to give him an eye. I love happy accidents like this.
I hope you create some art, and that you’re extra kind to everyone you meet in the week ahead because Anne Frank was right. There’s no reason to wait to make the world a better place to live. We can start right this minute. The possibilities are endless. Love is contagious, so pass it on. xo
Some things worth sharing this week:
That Summer - documentary about Little & Big Edie from Grey Gardens, who were relatives of Jackie O. I’ve watched Grey Gardens many times before. This documentary has raw footage that was lost for 45 years, and wasn’t in the Grey Gardens documentary. I found it uncomfortable to watch, but I’m glad I did. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for both of these ladies.
Grey Gardens has been sold twice since the Edie’s lived there & it’s now been restored. There’s a tour video of it from a year ago. How fabulous!
