Revising Oil Portrait Painting with Oil Pastels – Don’t Let Anything Stop You

Over the summer I started going through a box of older 6×6 oil portraits, and revising them with oil pastels. 

I need to get back to doing this because I kinda forgot about this little project.

I had planned on revising at least one of these each week, but the heat from summer
slowed me down to a crawl. These photos are from a couple months ago.

I see the irony in the title of this painting. I let the summer heat stop me from revising more of these paintings. I had titled this one years ago, but I find it amusing that I didn’t take my own advice. I could’ve had the entire box revised by now. Oh, well. Maybe soon?
