Peter Draws announced his new album Souper Man last week. I’ve had it on repeat ever since. As much as I love how quirky, funny and entertaining it is, I love his past album Hole Poker even more, if that’s even possible. :) Can never get enough of Peter, no matter if it’s his live drawing videos, calm readings of cool books or music. If only there were more people in the world like him. Baw ba ba bop bop baaawp.

Reading: the magic in being a beginner

I remember when I started painting full time. It was indeed a magical, exciting time. Everything was so shiny & new. Being an artist has lost much of its sparkle over the years, but I don’t think I’ve ever tried drawing a horse without looking. I might have to give it a try.
