Perception is a key component

Some people could be given an entire field of roses and only see the thorns in it. Others could be given a single weed and only see the wildflower in it. Perception is a key component to gratitude. And gratitude a key component to joy.

These two pages took me a while to create. For some reason I wasn’t feeling it at all, no matter what I did. I tried all different colors, and ended up scraping it off. I finally settled for this blue and butter cream. Still don’t love it, but I might tomorrow when my perception is different? 

Okay, so sometimes just rotating the photos makes me like the work better..which again is about perception, yeah? After I turned the close up photos in Photoshop, I now see the work with whole new eyes. 

Looking closely also showed me all these little lines that I didn’t see before. I’m starting to change my mind about these pages.
