I’m painting this from a photo on the sktchy app. My intention was to paint the photo exactly, but after I got her teeth painted in, I decided to change direction.

I love the photo, but I decided to give her a closed mouth smile instead. I wasn’t happy with the way I drew the teeth, and the more I tried to correct it, the more the oil paint smeared and looked muddy. I might try it again sometime down the road. We’ll see.

This is where I left off on Wednesday. I’m letting it dry a bit before continuing.
