I picked an awesome time to have PLAY as my word of the year. I’m saying that sarcastically, of course. 

Even though I made a big PLAY sign for my studio wall as a reminder, I haven’t been “playing” in there much under the circumstances.

However, I had hoped to lighten my somber mood, and lift my spirits a bit with this painting. She makes me smile every time I look at her, and dare I say when she’s hanging on your wall, she’ll do the same for you? That is my best intention, so I hope so. 🙂
