This original portrait painting of a man & woman couple is from a series I’m creating on flat panels. I painted this without a reference photo, which means they come straight from my imagination. This couple was living happily inside my head with all their friends.. until that day they started banging on the bars of their cage, and begged to be let out. Now that they’re here, they told me they won’t rest until they find a permanent forever home. Hey, I tried to tell them that living in the real world wasn’t easy, but did they listen to me? 😉
