This is an expressive, naive gouache portrait painting of a man wearing a cowboy hat, which I hand painted in a naive painterly art style on 76 lb acid free paper. 

The lightweight nature of the paper mixed with gouache & water might have resulted in crinkles and buckling in certain areas. This contributes to the raw, imperfect aesthetic of the artwork, making it all the more endearing and unique.
