Literally 10 seconds into my timer this morning my husband was outside my closed studio door trying to talk to me through it. There I was with headphones blasting, annoyingly yelling “WHAT.. WHUT??” back in response. I ended up dropping a big blob of paint on my foot because I was trying to turn down my headphones with my hands full. I mean, really, husband?? What were you thinking by interrupting me at that time? haha I’m still not sure what he was saying. 

Ten seconds after he left, Maudie cat started yowling at me to let her in. sigh. I swear, I’m NEVER shutting the door again. 

Top that off with me choosing a dreadfully depressing song to listen to, and blah. I couldn’t wait for this 5 minute painting session to end. Nevertheless, I think I’m seeing progress being made with this painting, so there’s that. 

Song I listened to today was Show Me How to Live by Audioslave. :/
