Rea and Bokoo – Wayback Wednesday

This lovely, animal loving lady used to send me original hand painted postcards in the mail all the time. She was notorious for stealing my photos from my blog of my cats and dogs, and painting them. 😀 Sneaky, sneaky!! It was always a huge surprise to get a postcard from her. Really made my day. 

I looked for her cards to show you, but they’re still packed away somewhere. I’ll have to keep looking.  

I knew I had to get “even” with her, somehow. 😉 When she posted a photo of her holding her dog, Bokoo, I had to paint them. 🙂 

Not sure what happened, but we fell out of touch after Livejournal was bought by a Russian company, and ceased to be popular. Everyone scattered, mostly to FB, and later IG. I’m not sure where Maria went. I’m still sad that we lost touch.
