Real Feelings to Feel
oil portrait painting
Daily painting: 365 day art project
Day 55
Prints will be available as soon as I’m able to get to my photography table to shoot a better photo.
My studio is in a chaotic mess right now.
The painting will be available in my various online shops once it dries. You can contact me if you want me to reserve it for you.

Dare I say, I’m enjoying these oil portraits now? Figures, right? Just when I’m starting to see the light at the end of the long tunnel, I’m now getting my act together. I’m close to having 30 paintings finished, which I can’t believe is happening after all those days of struggling to paint one thin layer.
I’m finally coming clean..
The story I posted yesterday was only partially true. My husband did hang his clothes on a clothesline once, but as you can clearly see from the photographs, he wasn’t wearing my skirt. I also don’t own an orange dress. Nor does he. He was actually hanging a brown towel, which would have looked boring in the painting. It had to go.
The story itself is actually semi-true, but it doesn’t involve my husband. It was another guy, who shall remain nameless because I don’t want to go into hiding for the rest of my life. It wasn’t a skirt he wore out to the clothesline. It was his tighty whities. 🙂
Partial truth + semi-truth = humorous painting. The math works for me.
