While Etsy has been busy increasing fees and tacking on added subscriber fees for sellers, I’ve been lowering prices on mini paintings, and having a huge 40% off sale on other paintings in my shop.
Logically, I know it doesn’t make sense for me to do this, and I’m not going to lie. I’m not going to be able to afford to do this for long, but right now, I love seeing my older paintings go off to new homes. Over the past 326 days that I’ve been painting daily, I’ve painted A LOT of paintings, and those paintings are beginning to pile up.
Oh, yes..the ever growing stacks of paintings to list in my shops never seem to get any smaller. To think, this isn’t all of them. I still have a HUGE stack of Halloween paintings that I never even got listed last year because I was too busy to take the photos. My photography table downstairs is also covered in a few more stacks. It’s all a bit overwhelming some days.
Once the 365 daily painting challenge is over, I’m going to need a year or two just to catch up with myself.
