Woman gouache portrait painting – Very Raw

This is a gouache portrait painting of a woman, which I hand painted in a naive painterly art style on 76 lb pinkish red acid free, colored paper.

The lightweight nature of the paper mixed with gouache & water resulted in crinkles and buckling in certain areas. This contributes to the raw, imperfect aesthetic of the artwork, making it all the more endearing and unique.
