There are patterns which emerge in one’s life,
circling and returning anew,
an endless variation of a theme.
I’ve felt more peaceful since returning to my daily morning pages practice. It’s my little carved out space of time in the day where I create something just for me, using whatever colors I’m feeling in the moment.
It’s my time to experiment, and play with different color combos that I probably wouldn’t otherwise. I usually do a 2 page spread every day, and this little book is filling up with lots of abstract paintings.
Once I’m done with this book, I think I might be switching to watercolors or working more exclusively with the charcoal ink I made. I’m thinking about painting loose abstract-like portraits, but who knows? I just let myself do whatever I want in the moment with no expectations.
I hope you have a lovely creative day. If you like this blog post, please share it using the buttons below.
