I’m coming to the end of my third month of daily blogging. If my math is right, it’s been 90 days today. I haven’t missed one day. That’s great and all, but how’s it really been going? [Read more…]

Some of these I really hate to sell, like this one. I haven’t felt this way about my art in a long time or maybe ever. I LOVE what I’ve been creating these days. I think that’s a good thing, mostly, except when I want to keep them all for myself. I’ve got several that I’ve been holding off posting because they’re hanging on my walls, and I don’t want to take them down if they sell. I keep imagining how that will make me feel, and I can’t bring myself to list them yet. That’s never happened before..usually a painting goes straight from my easel to my shop and blog without giving it a second thought.

5. I’m sure you’ve heard of Ello by now..could this be the end of FB? That would make me pretty happy. 🙂 I’m not a fan of FB for sooo many reasons. I’m only there because everyone I know is there. No ads on Ello is pretty tempting. I’m ready whenever you are..just biding my time, waiting for my invite.

My latest obsession is guacamole and tortilla chips. I have lived my entire life without knowing how tasty avocados are. How did that happen? Greg has eaten them for years, but I never tried them more than once or twice until about 6 months ago when I started making cabbage salad with them. Cabbage salad is basically cabbage, avocados, fresh pineapple, lemon juice, minced onion, and celery salt. Mash the avocados, add some lemon juice. Chop up the pineapple, and cabbage. Mix it all together. Sooo good. I eat it about 4 to 5 times a week. I’m trying not to get as obsessed with the guacamole and chips, but it’s difficult.
