I painted over some portraits paintings a couple weeks ago, and turned them into these abstracts. I think I’ve talked myself into doing an entire series of black & white abstract paintings now. I’ve actually wanted to do this series for years now, but other things kept getting in the way. It’s been  simmering away on the back burner for about 10 years, and it makes me happy that I’m finally getting around to it.

I definitely see these paintings as being a wonderful addition to not only my shop, but my home, also. I have these and a few more like it lined up on my living room shelf, and all I can think is I want to paint more. I have a gallery wall in my house that I wouldn’t mind filling up, so off to the studio I go. xo Hope you’re having a lovely Thursday.
