Bird, bird, bird

So the boy jumped on his back, and off they flew.
I was looking through some folders of my old artwork the other day, and thought I should jump on the Throwback Thursday (TBT) bandwagon. Why not? I have lots of old artwork to share. Some of it is pretty scary looking, like cartoony faces with big googly eyes. haha It’s okay. I’m certainly not ashamed of how far I’ve come, so I will be uploading those ugly paintings, also. Some of it isn’t half bad, tho. This is a mixed media collage painting I did in 2004, and I rather like it.
This post is quickly going to the birds.

What’s with all the mind chatter? I’ve only just begun this long tedious process, and my brain is blah blah blahing at me. sigh. QUIET!!! PLEASE!!! I can’t hear my real self think. Gee. Whatever, brain. My hands can’t move fast enough for you today. I see.

😉 I hope you’re not struggling with your brain, and have a much quieter inner dialogue going on. It makes for a rough studio day when the hands, eye, and brain are all fighting against one another, viciously.
