Cat Comics on a Caturday

I’ve been making what I call “cat comics” for a few months now. I would share more of them here, but my cats have foul mouths (I have NO idea where they get it from. MEOW), so I only share with a selected few. I asked Harold & Maude to tone it down, so I would have something to post today, and they reluctantly agreed.

Harold’s leavez meeze alonez face reminds me of Stanley from The Office whenever he looks like Michael. haha I <3 Stanley, Harold’s Stanley face, and, The Office.

In the meantime, Sweet Pea’s floating through life in her pink cloud, chilling like a villain. Aww..

Today I’m sharing how I made my Virginia Woolf portrait painting. I think you might be surprised because I didn’t start with a blank canvas, but instead painted over an old portrait. Can’t believe it’s Saturday again already. Sweet Pea woke me up super early this morning, around 5:30, wanting to cuddle. We didn’t get much snuggle time because once I’m awake, I’m w i d e awake. Besides, she was restless, and fidgety so we ended up getting up at 6am. Yaaawn.

Not exactly what I’d call a good night’s sleep, but it’s okay. I have a busy day planned in the studio. It’s a filming day, and I’m not even sure what I’m going to paint yet. hm..I’m leaning towards a portrait, maybe something in my art journal?

Having one YT channel instead of two makes things soooo much easier. I technically only have to film one video today. I might do more, depending on how it goes, but I only have to film one. How marvelous to have a choice, instead of forcing myself to do something I don’t want to do. So glad I made the decision to merge all my social media accounts. I’ve spent the week getting things sorted because the merge has caused extra work, but I don’t mind. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel, and life will be so much easier down the road not having to deal with so many social media accounts.

What I’m reading this weekend – The Employee Millionaire: How to Use Your Day Job to Become a Millionaire with Rental Properties. Not exactly a book to read for fun, but it is quite informative. So far, I’m enjoying it.

Cat Fight Caturday

Oh that Sweet Pea..such an aggressive little thing. She LOVES to fight, as you can see in this video.

I learned something new about Maude recently. Whenever I played “feather” with them (it’s a handmade cat toy: dowel with bird feathers on it that Greg picks up while hiking) in the past, Maude would always sit on the sidelines. She would watch, but never play. Well, one day I upped the speed, and BAM. She was in the game immediately, her little head bobbing back and forth, like in the video. heehee

Poor Harold is afraid of feather when it goes fast, and he runs and hides behind the door. He’s always been a little scaredy cat. Poor baby Harball. He needs the most comforting out of the three of them, and he misses me horribly whenever I leave the room. He cries nonstop until I return. Greg calls him “Momma’s boy” (he has sooo many nicknames), and that’s okay with us, right, Harold? Aww..I really love my boy. :))) Look at the size of that paw. He’s going to be sooooo big when he’s full grown.

Maude Poopy Pants Wood – because she STILL won’t poop in her box. Gah!! It’s behavioral, and I have tried EVERYTHING to make it stop. I either have to accept it or accept it because at this point, she’s getting close to a year old. I don’t know if there’s any hope. I don’t like either choice, but what can I do? ARRRRRgh!!!

Sweet Pea Snuggle Pants Wood – when she wants to, she puts her snuggle pants on. It usually doesn’t happen at all in the summer. In the winter, she can be downright clingy at times. Sometimes, I have to wonder if she even washes her snuggle pants for months. She’s always sitting on my lap. 🙂
