This past Sunday I opened a new shop on Daily Paintworks. I’m still in the process of writing descriptions & listing more giclee prints, but it’s getting there. If you’re not familiar with the site, it’s a Mom & Pop type website for artists run by David & Carol Marine.

As one door opens, another closes. I’m also in the process of closing my Etsy shop after having one of my best years in sales there last year. I’ve had a long history with selling on Etsy for the past 16 years (current shop), and 21 years altogether with 3 other shops I’ve already closed down. After hemming and hawing over the decision for the past several months, I decided now is the time. 

My last Etsy listing will expire in August. I’m not sure if I’ll stick around the site that long or if I’ll be putting my shop in vacation mode. I was leaning heavily towards shutting it down now because I’ve already mentally moved on. However, I thought it’s best to give my loyal repeat customers & followers notice, so they can find me on other platforms. 

So, for the time being, I’ve changed my Etsy banner, and I’m running a 25% off sale. I guess it will depend on how things go between now, and August as to whether I’ll close down early or not. I might or might not go into more detail of why I’m leaving Etsy once my shop is closed. I haven’t decided yet. 

If you’d like to purchase my art, you can take advantage of the sale while it lasts or buy from me directly here on my site, where I always offer free shipping. I will still be offering my artwork on eBay, & now – Daily Paintworks. Yay!!
