Having a bunch of cats around is good. If you’re feeling bad, you just look at the cats, you’ll feel better because they know that everything is just as it is. There’s nothing to get excited about. They just know. They’re saviors.

I’m going to repaint this cutie on canvas or panel, so I can offer it for sale..maybe in oils? I still need to finish an oil portrait I started months ago, so yeah.. I need to cure my oil paint withdrawal symptoms.
As the world around us is shutting down, and people are being quarantined, I know staying home is going to be difficult for so many. I’m going to be sharing some linky love here on my blog that might relieve your boredom for a few minutes.
As you probably already know, I’m a huge fan of Youtube. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t watch 10 or more videos..because, well, I’m a YT junkie. So, I thought maybe, since you’re reading my blog, you’d also like what I like.
I usually start the day off with some positive affirmations or meditation. These are my go to favs that I’ve listened to over and over again..
Guided Morning Meditation (10 minutes to kick start your day)
NEW Morning Gratitude Positive Affirmations
Both of these videos seem to get the day off on the right start for me, and get me thinking positively from the get go. Yes, this situation is terrifying (I live with 3 autoimmune diseases, so I’m high risk), and unlike anything we’ve ever seen in our lifetimes, but we all need to stay calm, think clearly, and not let our fear cause us to panic. I can’t think of a better way to do that than through meditation.
I hope you have a happy, safe, healthy Monday.
