I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I took last week off from blogging to get caught up on work, and to enjoy a little downtime. 

This week I’m back with this
Santa Claus painting
I created on a flat panel
using acrylic paint. 

My favorite part of painting this portrait was trying to give the illusion that his face was being magnified by his spectacles. I think I was able to pull it off. 

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world,
and behold,
everything is softer and more beautiful.
