This is a new year. A new beginning. And things will change.

Today is my birthday, and as I reflect back on the past year, and look forward to the year ahead, I want to celebrate by starting a new project. For the next 365 days, I want to start each and every morning doing what I love to do best – painting. No checking email, no Twitter, no IG. Studio comes first. I can’t think of a better way of starting the day than waking up with my paints, collage papers, pastels, and a hot cup of coffee. Where it will lead me, who knows? I’m excited to find out.

I can now say I’m a daily painter. The past 30 days have made a believer out of me, so I’m not about to stop now!! Can’t stop!! I’m hooked. Do stop by now and again to check up on me, yeah? 🙂 It’s been a lot of fun!! Thanks so much for the comments, and for keeping me motivated. I hope you were able to complete the challenge, too. 
 
If you want to make collages of your work like I did, the program I downloaded to do it is called Foter. You can also edit your photos with it, and make cards. I like it a lot, and will probably make monthly collages like this from now on. It’s a great way to keep track of all the work I accomplish in a month.
