Oil pastel portrait drawing
progress shots
I’ve been wearing gloves when I draw lately because the oil pastels have been doing a number on my hands, making them dry and cracked.
I should wear gloves 100% of the time because I doubt it’s healthy to have oil pastels on your skin..especially those smelly Pentels. It makes me twitch when I see artists swatch oil pastels on their hands to test out the colors.

I’ll show you the completed portrait soon.
May you have a happy, peace-filled, creative week ahead. I’m going to be taking a break from blogging this week, and part of next week because I’ll be attending a Buddhist retreat. I’ve scheduled a couple posts in advance. You won’t even know I’m gone, promise.
