Can you believe those Pats, huh? Made me wicked proud to have grown up in New England. To think the game started out slowly, and by the 2nd quarter I was thisclose to walking away, convinced I had better things to do. Yet, surprisingly it turned into one of the best games I’ve ever watched. I’m so glad I stuck with it to the end because I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat in the 4th quarter, and screaming at the tv. Wow! They made history being the first ever to go into OT during a Super Bowl. Amazzzzing!!

I kinda wish I had planned on watching it, tho. It was a last minute decision, and it seemed better than going back upstairs to my office to work. There was a time when I would sit and watch entire football games, even if I was all alone, but I haven’t been into football for the past couple years. I even skipped the past 2, maybe 3 Super Bowls. Aaron Hernandez, and a couple other players had completely turned me off from the game. Last night, since the Pats were playing, I did have a bit of FOMO going on. I’m glad I watched.

Unprepared as I was, I didn’t think of snacks ahead of time. Instead, I sat there next to my husband who ate through the entire game. Crunch crunch chew chew. ha! There was one point I looked at him, and said, “You’re still eating??!!” lol Jealousy at its finest just flew out of my mouth before I could stop it. Oh, well..I saved myself from gaining 5 lbs anyway. Although, knowing me, I probably gained weight just watching/listening to him eat, and I bet he didn’t gain an ounce. That’s how it always goes. sigh. 

Wasn’t all that impressed with the ads, although there were a couple funny ones (Justin Timberlake & Christopher Walken, Snoop Dog & Martha were my two favs), but most were too violently and “manly” for my liking. Gaga was exceptional during halftime, tho. Really enjoyed watching her. Hope she isn’t afraid of heights cos those were some crazy stunts she pulled off. All in all, it was a great night.
