My Idea of Poetry

I remember this one was a pain in the neck to paint. lol Firstly, because painting a portrait with knives isn’t exactly easy. When I’m painting with palette knives, I don’t use any brushes..I consider it cheating. And, secondly, because I had to paint with a tiny palette knife. I remember regretting how small I sketched her face, but I took it on as a challenge, and boy, was it ever! If When I do more of these 6x6s, I’m going to make sure the face takes up most of the panel, like the first three do because it gives me more room to maneuver around with the knives.
