Artists I’m admiring:

James Gurney – I watched his interview with Lindsey. I’ve followed his blog for years, but somehow missed that he had moved to Substack. There aren’t enough hours in the day to keep up with all my favorite artists. 

John Mellencamp – portrait paintings He’s been painting since the 80s, and his work is pretty awesome. 

Zoey Frank – I love all her work, but especially this one. The scene out the window reminds me of the documentary I saw a couple weeks ago. Zoey also wrote about her painting process here.
