that little underbite slays me

As much as I love Fall, October’s been shaky at best. I’ve been sick with the flu for most of the month, and now I have a cold. I can’t seem to catch a break from the sickies. It goes away for a day or two, and comes right back, worse than ever. UGH!! Blog posts will be sparse until I get back up on my feet again. 

As long as you’re learning, you’re not failing.

First snowfall happened a couple weeks ago on Oct 15th.
It was beautiful, but
it was gone in a couple hours. 

Grateful I have a dog to walk or I might have missed it. 
Chewy loved it!

The cold crisp air and icy feet must have invigorated him.
He didn’t want to come back inside. 
Note to self: might be time to buy him winter clothes.

Watching: The 100 Years Show 

From Netflix: This documentary profiles abstract minimalist pioneer Carmen Herrera as she enjoys artistic success and fame that literally took a lifetime to happen.

Reading: The Day the Great Plains Burned – this was a very scary time for many of us, and it wasn’t just for a day. The fires went on for weeks..edging closer and closer, until they were at my front, side, and back door. I don’t live in the towns they wrote about in this article, but it was still an interesting read.
