Friyay! I don’t know about you, but this week seemed long. It’s been gray, raining, snowy, and cold. Like, I’m talking 7F cold. Brrr! I got locked out of my house because my outside door handle froze, and I couldn’t open it. It worked fine going out, but wouldn’t budge when I tried to go back inside.

There I was with no coat on, no shoes – in the snow, no phone to call anyone, no keys to get in the car, just me and Chewy standing in the wind, shivering. I can be so ditzy at times, but in my defense..who would have thunk this would happen? I didn’t know how cold it was until I came back inside, and looked at my phone. Luckily, I was able to use my cold fist to pound on the door handle until the ice gave way. hahaha! I was sooooo happy to be back inside, I almost kissed the kitchen floor. lol

I secretly love cold winter days, tho, because it makes me want to curl up in bed under the electric blanket with a book, 3 kitties and a little doggie. It’s easy to convince myself it’s too cold to work.

The book I’m reading by Donna Tartt..The Secret History has hooked its claw into me, and I can’t put it down. Omgosh. I’m about 250 pages in, out of roughly 500. I can only imagine it’s going to get better, so if I don’t post on Monday you know why. I’ve either locked myself out of the house again or I’m reading. haha! I hope it’s the latter.
