Sweet Pea & catnip from the garden
Last night I had to harvest all the catnip from the garden because we had a frost warning. The cats got a HUGE bundle which I tied a string around, and hung upside down to dry. It won’t last them long, so I have more growing in pots in the kitchen.
It is sooo much healthier for the cats, and cheaper to grow your own catnip, as opposed to buying it already dried. I don’t use any pesticides, and I buy organic seeds. Once you plant some in the garden, it will come back every year, and spreads easily. Growing it inside is a little more challenging. The plants seem to have a lifecycle of about 3 to 6 months, and once it starts to die off, there’s little chance of bringing it back. I just plant more to try to keep ahead of it, so my cats always have a fresh stash of nip around.
All it takes is one little sniffy whiffy for Harold,
and Sweet Pea is immediately on alert.
What is that fool gonna do now?
hahahaha
lol..oh, that Harold!
Can’t handle the nip like the girls
Oops, spoke too soon.
Someone passed out with her feetz out the door of her itty kitty houze.

Happy Caturday!!
