Snow, sleet, hail, freezing rain, pouring rain, snow, snow, snow, 70F down to below zero..what a ride the past couple weeks have been. I’m now positive that February is quite a drama queen putting on a great big show for us all. I must say, I’m impressed.
Just when you think it’s safe to walk in the middle of the street, a car comes along, spins out, goes up over the sidewalk, and almost hits the brick wall, where it became lodged up against a pile of snow. Luckily, two strong guys came along..one wearing only a t-shirt, and helped push her back onto the street.
Have I mentioned they don’t plow the streets here? A lot of them are brick on this side of the city, so it would be impossible.
I know they were trying to spell out a message for me, if only I knew how to decipher bird code.
I found this piece of wood on top of the snow, and it looks exactly like my Chewy dog. See what I mean? …
In the studio this week..
I’ve been working on revising this portrait painting, and lots of abstract paintings. I’m also having a studio sale in my Etsy shop. Lots of great deals on original paintings. Hope you’re having a great week!!
